Please note that we only ship EPS and epoxy stand-up paddle boards within the continental United States. We do not ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO addresses. Sorry, but no exceptions.
Our shipping methods are listed below. Please note that we do not ship orders on Saturdays or Sundays.
Orders placed within the United States
All inflatable paddle boards or iSUPs ship FREE within the contiguous United States.
Hard Board Stand-Up paddleboards – We ship rigid board stand-up paddle boards through a specialty freight company, which varies. We charge you $125 for the first board and $25 for each additional board, up to a maximum of $250, to ship as many panels as possible on the same order.
Stand-Up Paddleboard Accessories and Other Products – Shipping costs for orders under $100 are determined by weight and distance from San Diego, CA. UPS Ground or USPS Priority delivers items depending on the destination and weight. The transit time is typically 1-5 business days. Items are usually shipped within 1-2 business days of purchase.
All domestic orders over $100 qualify for free shipping within the continental US, except orders that include rigid boards, which must be shipped separately via freight. Inflatable paddle boards ship free of charge as well.
Shipping to international destinations
Inflatable SUPs ship internationally, but EPS/Epoxy stand-up paddle boards cannot be shipped outside the contiguous United States.
We ship our inflatable paddle boards internationally via USPS Priority Mail. The cost of shipping increases with the weight of additional accessories you may add to your order.
You gave a quote at checkout, depending on the weight and destination. All items are usually sent out within 1-2 business days of purchase. Delivery generally occurs within 6-10 business days, although please allow for variations when ordering abroad.
We ship all our products using USPS Priority International mail or UPS Worldwide Expedited at our discretion. Our automated shipping calculator will generate a quote for you during the checkout precheck out sed on the weight and destination of your order.
Generally, your items should be with you within 3-10 business days, although international orders may take longer; please consider this when placing your order. Items are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days of purchase.
Customs, Duty, Taxes, and Country-Specific Fees are separate charges.
Our international shipping price includes the base charge for us to ship your order to your country but does not cover customs duties, taxes, or country-specific fees. It is common to receive a bill from the shipping company when importing a product, so please ensure you know your country’s policies beforehand.
SUP Board Gears cannot be held accountable for any extra charges that may arise from your local customs office, nor the additional fee the local carrier in your country could impose. We cannot keep track of all duties and fees across 100 countries worldwide.
For items in stock, delivery estimates are based on the date of shipment, provided no problems or delays occur with your local customs office.
International shipping times vary considerably. SUP Board Gear is not responsible or liable for any problems at your local customs office.
Delivery Instructions for Hard Board Stand-Up Paddleboards
Our boards are shipped via a freight company because of their size. Here’s what you need to know:
When the board arrives in your area, the freight company will contact you via the number on your order to schedule a convenient delivery time.
You will need to arrange for a personal receipt. If this is not an option, you can often pick it up at the shipping company’s warehouse with an ID.
Drivers don’t need to wait while you examine the board; however, they must return within three days to pick it up without charge if it was damaged during delivery.
If a driver is willing to stay (which is at their discretion, depending on their workload), please take the board out of the box and inspect it once it arrives, especially if the package appears badly damaged. Do not worry if they don’t stay – you still have coverage for boards ruined in transit.
Our freight provider is one of the tops in its field, but sometimes items can sustain damage en route. Fortunately, we are among the few companies that double-box our shipments, thus reducing any potential deterioration.
You have two options if your SUP board is damaged:
Option 1: Accept delivery, and we’ll compensate you – We will pay you if you accept delivery and can live with or repair the damage. Please keep the board boxes and bubble wrap packaging and contact us if possible.
If we cannot reach a sensible agreement, we will retrieve the board and send you a replacement. We aim to make you 100% satisfied, so if we cannot reach a reasonable agreement, we will retrieve the board and send you a replacement.
Option 2: Refuse shipment – If you don’t feel compensation will do the trick, either refuse the shipment (write “refused due to damage” on the shipping receipt) on the spot and notify us or let us know within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll arrange to pick up the damaged board.
As with the first shipment, we will send a replacement board soon. However, it will take another 7-10 days to reach you.
Occasionally, our boards are damaged, but we are here to take care of you if it does. To minimize the risk of damage, we double-box our boards at extra cost, but there is still a possibility of injury.
We aim to be open and honest with you, not make you jump through many hoops to get a satisfactory resolution.
We only ask that you understand that sometimes these things happen, and everyone has to act reasonably. We will correct the situation.
